Our Story
Our connection with Medjugorje began in 1993
During the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, we visited refugee centres and saw first hand the needs of families who had been displaced by the conflict. What began as an effort to help these families developed into a ministry that continued for more than three decades. Over the years, our work has included helping families and communities with wool, baby clothing, and blankets, ladies and children's shoes, ladies and children's clothing, supplies and financial assistance.
Our Catholic Gift Shop, Patricias Place Catholic Gift Shop, www.patriciasplacecatholicgiftshop.com ,also grew from this connection. Many of the religious articles we obtain in Medjugorje are handmade by local individuals and families. For us ,Medjugorje has always been about more than traveling to a destination, it's about Peace, Faith, Prayer. Service and People.
Several priests, seminarians and sisters from various diocese and communities have accompanied us on many pilgrimages both as Spiritual Advisors and pilgrims. We have been assisted by various parishes, Catholic Womens League Councils and Knight of Columbus Councils.We have been invited to speak to various Catholic Womens League Groups, Knights of Columbus Councils and parishes to speak on Medjugorje,Our Blessed Mother and ministry of helping communities and others.

Malteser Clinic
Malteser Clinic is a medical triage facility in Medjugorje staffed by local doctors, and nurses and staff members, They treat pilgrims with a non -life-threatening health issues. The clinic depends on God's Providence and the generosity of the pilgrims for financial and material support. Our groups have been very generous with the medical supplies they have brought with them for this essential service provided by the clinic.
